Part of the now famous Fossicker’s Way,  Inverell is a prosperous, busy regional centre. For those interested in gems and fossicking,  drive east towards Glen Innes for 15km and  spend some time at the Dejon Sapphire Centre. Visit the Copeton Dam and then drive on to Bingara and pick up a counter lunch at the Sportsman’s Hotel
